Athletics
ICS offers a number of sports. In the fall, ICS athletes compete in co-ed soccer and cross country. In the winter, both Middle School and Varsity basketball are offered. In the spring, ICS offers Ultimate Frisbee and Track and Field.

Varsity Soccer
Islesboro Central School Varsity Soccer is a co-ed team consisting of students in grades 8-12.
Soccer season runs from the end of August through October, with tournament games going until November.
In the past our teams have been successful in qualifying for tournament games.

Islesboro Central School Middle School Soccer is a co-ed team consisting of students in grades 5-8.

Cross Country
Sailing Team
The Sailing program is done through Big Tree Boating and is available to Middle and High Schoolers. Participants compete in teams of two on the weekends and you do not need to have your own sailboat. Sailing is done in the fall and the spring.
Varsity Basketball
Busline League Basketball
Our middle school student athletes participate in the Maine Busline League basketball program. Students in grades 5-8 are allowed to participate.
We strongly support good sportsmanship, teamwork, learning the sport of basketball and of course having fun!

Ultimate Frisbee
Students in grades 8-12 may participate in the co-ed sport. Games are on Wednesdays and are always held away in Cumberland or Portland.

Track and Field
Track and Field is offered in the spring through the Busline league to grades 5-8 and at the Varsity level to grades 9-12.
Track and Field is a great opportunity to participate and compete in a wide variety of events including sprinting, hurdles, distance running, throwing and jumping.
